Puffy bags.
We’ve seen puffy bags for a few seasons now thanks to brands like Bottega Veneta, Louis Vuitton and, more recently, Loewe blowing up the luxury market. Shortly after, slightly more affordable squishy options appeared at Marc Jacobs and Coach. As trends do, the puffy pouch trickled down to the masses and Cos nailed the shape for the high street.
You’ve probably seen their Quilted and Ripple bags in various colours, shapes and sizes – the leather iterations give a chic, Bottega feel, while the recycled materials of the Ripple feel wearable for every day. The baby blue Ripple has spring written all over it – bigger than a shoulder bag and smaller than a tote bag, wear it crossbody and go hands-free while you sip your Sunday flat white.
I’ll be pairing mine with a bright knitted tank and a layered white tee for an eclectic grandpa colour clash, or using it to elevate a casual leggings and trainers look.

Padel.
I’m not a sporty gal, so this is rogue for me. If you don’t already know, Padel is like a variation of tennis where you let the ball bounce between shots. You can also hit it off the glass court walls, which serves as both good fun and a great way to exercise some rage. The best part? Padel feels like a sport that’s accessible and fun for people who don’t play sports. Find some simple rules here, or make up your own. 🤷🏻♀️ If you’re based in Glasgow, you’ll find padel at Golf It – make sure to finish your sesh with some tasty street food from Big Feed who are also on site.

With Rimmel Wonder’Bond Mascara.
You’ve probably heard about the benefits of bonding shampoo, so don’t sleep on bonded eyelashes! If you’re looking for a one-coat-and-done formula, this is IT. This mascara gives you serious length, separates your lashes and, most importantly, washes off in the shower without leaving behind a trail of destruction.

Fancy toast.
“Groundbreaking!” I hear you shout. But let’s not underestimate the power of hot bread. Think boujee, not basic. The current obsession started with a recent solo breakfast trip to Nessa in London. Their ‘Not avocado on toast’ is a luxurious blend of broad beans, chilli and zesty-ness and really brightened up an otherwise miserable trip down south.
Back home, I’ve been making toasty experiments for lunch – sourdough, peanut butter, cheese and jalapenos is the current frontrunner. Don’t knock it til you’ve tried it.
following…
I’ve booked to go to Copenhagen in April and did so at a good time because there was a steady stream of content coming from Copenhagen Fashion Week to get me in the mood. I’ve not decided what I’ll be packing yet (hello, hand luggage) but I’ll be taking inspiration from Rita who has been nailing those eclectic, Scandi street-style looks. Take a look at her Insta for a colourful lesson in layering and fun hair accessories.
decorating…
With tufted cushions.
We’ve seen tufted mirrors and rugs grow in popularity over the last year or so, and now, tufting classes are popping up locally as people try their hand at TIY (that’s tuft-it-yourself). I’ve yet to invest in a tufted cushion, but Urban Outfitters has a lot of fun ones in their new-in section right now that will make a happy addition to your couch or bed.
From cowboy boots to toadstools and frogs, what’s not to love?
